Campaign: Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Under the nationwide campaign Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, the students of Grade 7 from our school visited Gau Sanvardhan Ashram, Moklawas, Jodhpur, on 8th August 2025. The event aimed to instil in students a sense of environmental responsibility and love for nature. The programme began with a warm welcome by the Ashram authorities, followed by an orientation about the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and preserving biodiversity. Students participated enthusiastically in planting saplings, each dedicating their plant to their mother as a token of gratitude and affection. After the plantation drive, a nature walk was organised around the Ashram premises. Students observed a variety of native trees, medicinal plants, and learnt about their uses. They also explored the Ashram’s sustainable practices in cattle care, organic farming, and water conservation. The visit provided students not only with hands-on experience of plantation but also with valuable knowledge on environmental conservation. The campaign successfully inspired them to nurture their saplings and become active protectors of nature.
