The Second Inter-school English Debate Competition

The Second Inter-school English Debate Competition held at Sardar Doon Public School, Jodhpur, brought together eloquent speakers from various schools to engage in a stimulating discussion on the topic, "Pseudo Secularism and Religious Chauvinism: A Hindrance to Integrated Development." The event aimed to foster critical thinking, articulate expression, and intellectual exchange among students. Winners: Winner: Poorva Ranjeja from St. Anne's School Outstanding Speaker: Jhanak Sharma from Lucky International School First Runner-up: Abhinav Ojha from St. Anne's School Second Runner-up: Nitisha Bhandari from Sardar Doon Public School Consolation Prize: Hemangi Bhargava from Vidhyashram School Judges: The competition was adjudicated by esteemed personalities in academia: Dr. Jagriti Upadhyaya, Assistant Professor, Sardar Patel University, Jodhpur Dr. Rajshree Ranawat, Assistant Professor, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur Chief Guest: Shri Prakash Ji Tatiya, Former Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding prestige to the event with his presence. The debate competition proved to be a platform for students to showcase their oratory skills, depth of understanding, and ability to articulate complex ideas. It not only encouraged healthy competition but also promoted critical analysis of contemporary socio-political issues. Sardar Doon Public School deserves commendation for organizing such an intellectually stimulating event, fostering a spirit of academic excellence and discourse among students.
