VEER BAL DIWAS
In an excellent initiative taken by Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi, December 26 will be observed as 'Veer Bal Diwas' to commemorate martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's sons Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh for their valor and strength at tender ages. Students of Sardar Doon Public school enthusiastically took part in various activities conducted to celebrate the 'Veer Bal Diwas'. On December 26'22 a special assembly was conducted wherein 'Char Sahibzada' movie was showcased and special orators were called to educate students about the bravery of these little warriors. On January 23'23 various activities were conducted ranging from poem recitation, word games, quiz and questionnaire conducted on the lives of the Sahibzadas and values students got from them. It was an interesting yet insightful experience for the students.
